These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TheModelSays website at themodelsays.com ("the Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

TheModelSays is a football statistics and entertainment site. It provides statistical predictions for World Cup 2026 matches using the Dixon-Coles Poisson regression model, tournament simulation probabilities, and fantasy football advice. The Site is intended for personal, non-commercial use by football fans.

TheModelSays is not affiliated with FIFA, the official WC 2026 fantasy game operator, or any national football association.

2. Accuracy and no warranties

All match predictions, tournament odds, and fantasy football projections provided on the Site are statistical estimates generated by a mathematical model. They are:

3. No gambling promotion

TheModelSays does not offer, facilitate, or promote gambling services. The statistical content on this Site must not be used as the basis for placing bets or wagers of any kind. If you use this Site's content in connection with gambling, you do so entirely at your own risk and in breach of these Terms.

4. Permitted use

You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment and fantasy football research. You must not:

• Copy, redistribute, or republish significant portions of the Site's content without written permission
• Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to extract data from the Site at scale
• Use the Site to build or train competing commercial products without permission
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Site's servers or services

5. Intellectual property

The text, design, code, and model methodology published on TheModelSays are owned by the Site operator. The Dixon-Coles statistical method is based on published academic research (Dixon and Coles, 1997) and is in the public domain; our specific implementation and parameter tuning are proprietary.

Match results and player statistics referenced on the Site are factual data. The analysis, predictions, and written commentary are original works.

6. Third-party content and links

The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and may contain links to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites or advertisers. Clicking on third-party advertisements or links is at your own discretion.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content, including but not limited to fantasy football losses, betting losses, or decisions made on the basis of match predictions.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
